Bavi se rutinskom mikrobiološkom dijagnostikom, naučno-istraživačkim radom i nastavnik je na osnovnim i postdiplomskim studijama na Medicinskom fakultetu u Beogradu. Učestvuje u planiranju, organizovanju i izvođenju istraživanja u okviru kojih se primenjuju molekularne i konvencionalne mikrobiološke tehnike, obrada podataka i izveštavanje rezultata.

DOSTIGNUĆABiografija

Ina Gajic je docent na predmetima Mikrobiologija i Klinička mikrobiologija na Medicinskom fakultetu, Univerziteta u Beogradu. Član je Nacionalne referentne laboratorije za streptokok.

Naučno-istraživački interes Ine Gajić su molekularni mehanizmi rezistencije bakterija na antibiotike, faktori virulencije i genetička srodnost invazivnih i multirezistentnih Gram pozitivnih i Gram negativnih bakterija. Bila je pet puta mentor ili član komisije za evaluaciju i odbranu diplomskih radova i mentor 13 studentskih naučno-straživačkih radova koji su prezentovani na nacionalnim i međunarodnim kongresima.

Ina Gajic je bila predavač po pozivu 2020. godine (Molecular insight into the antimicrobial resistance of group B streptococci, serotype distribution and emerging serotype III sequence type 17. FEMS Conference 2020. Belgrade, Serbia) i 2017. godine (Invasive group B streptococcal disease: the emergence of the hypervirulent clone ST-17. 10th Balkan congress of microbiology. Sofia, Bulgaria). Recenzent je u brojnim međunarodnim časopisima.
